Amanda Griffin was born in Dallas, Texas. She moved around quite a bit growing up, and never really felt like she had a "home-town." She first lived in Tyler, TX as a college student attending UTTyler. She completed her degree in Education at UNT and found herself drawn back to Tyler, where she taught middle school. She and her husband moved back to the Dallas area, but after having a child realized that Tyler was where they wanted to raise their daughter. She believes Tyler is a special place, and because she has been drawn back to this city so many times, it has become her home. Amanda taught in public school for 6 years and believes her background in education gives her a unique insight into how to protect her clients. As an educator, she was entrusted to safeguard and educate peoples' most valuable possessions (their children). Her goal is always to protect and give her clients as much information as possible to help them make the best decisions for their families.While she entered the real estate world for many reasons, she feels that the most important reason was to become the best wife and mother she can be and feels that both of these roles make her an excellent real estate agent. She truly enjoys helping others find the information and support they need.
