I moved to Austin, Texas, in 1997 after an 11-year career with H-E-B Grocery Company. In 2003, I opened my scratch Farmers Insurance agency. At the time, I knew little about insurance, but I was motivated by the opportunity to build something of my own--something lasting that could one day be passed down to my daughter.Over the years, our agency has grown steadily. In 2013, during the Farmers Championship Award Conference in Seattle, I met my husband, Dusty, who was also a Farmers agent at the time. What started as a friendship grew into a long-distance relationship, and we were married in October 2014. Dusty sold his agency and joined mine, and together we've continued to grow our business.In June 2025, we proudly welcomed our daughter Lauren into the agency, marking the beginning of the next generation of our family-run business.Our office is located just south of downtown Austin and the University of Texas campus, in the Grand Oaks Office Condominiums at the intersection of Menchaca Road and Davis Lane. We're in Building 5, which faces the back of Building 3.We take a consultative approach with every client, providing education and guidance so they can make informed decisions about their insurance coverage. Whether it's auto, home, motorcycle, renters, business, or life insurance, we customize each policy to offer the best value and protection.As active members of the Austin community, we proudly embrace the city's "Keep Austin Weird" spirit and the diversity it represents. Our family is involved with Manchaca Baptist Church, and we support Autism Speaks and the University of Texas Baptist Student Union.In our spare time, Dusty and I enjoy spending time with our daughters, Lauren and Camryn. We love to travel--especially cruising--and are big fans of football, baseball, and basketball.
