Althea earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Boston College and was the Manager of the Financial Aid Office and promoted as an Accounting Analyst in the Student Loan Department. She always had a passion for decorating and decided to attend the Rhode Island School of Design majoring in Interior Design. At this point Althea put her entrepreneurial skills to work and joined forces with a colleague to open a decorating shop where she eventually became the sole owner. As a decorator, Althea spent many hours inside people's homes, helping them realize their design objectives. So it wasn't such a stretch to transition from helping clients beautify their home to helping clients find their dream home. "I became a Realtor because I love helping people, especially through the process of something as meaningful as finding their perfect home." Positive communication at every step is key to that process, Althea believes. She credits her attentiveness to each clients' unique situation and personal tastes with helping her achieve that goal. "I pride myself on my ability to discern my client's needs, personality, and preferences to match them with their ideal home," Althea says.
