Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, I am fourth generation Marin County and fifthgeneration San Francisco on my mother and father's sides respectively. My roots actually goquite a bit deeper, as I am also descended from the Coast Miwok tribe native to Marin and am aproud member of the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria (the federally recognized tribecomprising the modern-day Coast Miwok and Southern Pomo.) I attended the University of California, Berkeley, and received a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies in 2007. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking with friends, trying out new restaurants with my husband, andraising our two beautiful dogs, Marla and Nava. I also love to travel both domestically andinternationally and am always eager to explore someplace new. I love giving back to mycommunity and support multiple charitable organizations focusing on animal welfare. I was alsoa longtime volunteer for the SF SPCA's Animal Assisted Therapy program until Marla recentlywent into a very well-deserved retirement.Even though I love to explore the world, I am so proud and lucky to call San Francisco home.
