ALEX PORTER represents clients in complex, high-stakes litigation and investigations. His experience spans a wide range of industries and legal claims, including M&A litigation, products liability and antitrust class actions, business tort disputes, and government investigations. Alex has extensive trial and appellate experience in federal and state courts. Alex received his law degree from Cornell Law School, cum laude , where he was an articles editor of the Cornell International Law Journal and a Myron Taylor scholar. While attending law school, Alex also served as a teaching assistant for the First Year Lawyering Program. Prior to joining Sidley, Alex was a legal intern at the New York State Attorney General's Litigation office. Alex received his B.A., magna cum laude , from Union College.
