I am Adriana Maayan, a fully licensed Realtor with what I believe is a vibrant history. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and at the age of 9 my family moved to Israel. We lived in Israel for 25 years, and in 2002, the entire family moved to Gainesville to be closer to my younger brother and his family. After high school, I served the Israeli Air Force for 2 years, then I studied graphic design in a local college. After 3 years of school and a baby, I started working as a florist and even had my own flower store. After 10 years in the flower business, I felt it was time for a change and just wanted a desk job. I was introduced to computers, and to catch up with technology I enrolled in a Microsoft Instructors class and eventually got the desk job I wanted in a crime prevention company. Once in Gainesville, I was introduced to Property Management through family, through the years I have experienced every aspect of Property Management; from leasing, posting rents, solving roommate drama and even cleaning apartments when no one else could. After 16 years in the Property Management business, it felt very natural to me to start making the transition to Real estate. I am passionate about helping people find their new home and a place to raise a family. I love the cultural diversity in Gainesville, and absolutely loved raising my daughter in such an accepting and welcoming town. Now she got her masters degree in education from the University of Florida and is an elementary school teacher. As a property manager I have always been attentive to my customers needs and wants, and dedicated to make the rental process as painless and easy as possible.
