Adam T. Hoffman is a partner in the New York and Newark offices of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Labor & Employment, Complex Business & Commercial Litigation, Professional Liability, Banking & Finance, and Real Estate & Land Use Practices. Mr. Hoffman's practice is concentrated in complex commercial and real estate litigation, professional liability law, employment law, and financial services litigation in New York and New Jersey's federal and state courts. He has significant experience representing corporate and individual clients in litigation, arbitration, mediation, appeals, and negotiations. He also represents national association banks and other institutional lenders in creditor rights matters, including secured and unsecured business loan enforcement litigation, as well as post-judgment execution.Mr. Hoffman's approach to litigation focuses on negotiating and resolving disputes, whenever possible, to avoid or minimize his clients' exposure to protracted court proceedings, but when litigation is a necessity, he provides clients with aggressive, sustained, and creative representation.Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hoffman worked at a civil litigation firm with a focus on complex commercial litigation. His experience included a victory at trial in an art fraud action and the successful defense of a woman's right to reproductive autonomy over her cryopreserved embryos.
