Conventional Loans: conventional loans are mortgage loans offered by non-government sponsored lenders, a conventional or conforming mortgage adheres to the guidelines set by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
Jumbo Loans: jumbo loans exceed the maximum loan amounts established by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac conventional loan limits. Jumbo loans are typically used to buy more expensive homes.
FHA Loans: FHA loans are an attractive option, especially for first time homeowners because it is insured by the federal housing administration (FHA)
VA Loans: a VA loan is designed to offer long-term financing to veterans. VA mortgage loans are issued by federally qualified lenders and are guaranteed by the US veterans administration.
Home Equity Line of Credit or HELOC: a home equity line of credit is exactly what it sounds like: a revolving line of credit that is borrowed against the equity value that you have in your home. Your home equity is used as collateral in case you don’t pay the loan back. As a result, HELOC’s have very low interest rates compared to many other types of loans.
Reverse Mortgage or HECM: the reverse mortgage loan is engineered to help you finance something in your life, while allowing you to remain where your most stable and inspired. Unlike a traditional mortgage, you don’t need to make payments to your reverse mortgage lender, you just have to keep up with property, taxes and mortgage insurance dues
