We've updated this Privacy Notice to:
- Add language describing identification pixels that operate when visitors click "Allow."
- Clarify that review authors retain ownership of their original works while granting Experience.com, the professional, and the professional's company a broad license to use them.
- Align with the 2026 Terms of Use and designate California law and arbitration.
- Confirm Experience.com does not sell Personal Information, though limited "sharing" may occur under CPRA definitions.

This Privacy Notice explains how BuyersRoad, Inc. d/b/a Experience.com ("Experience.com," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you:
- visit our website (https://www.experience.com);
- use our software-as-a-service Experience Management Platform ("SaaS Services");
- use our Search Rank Platform to build professional visibility;
- interact with us via SMS, email, calls, ads, or social media; or
- otherwise engage with our products and services (collectively, the "Services").
This Privacy Notice applies to all users located in the United States and any other region where Experience.com operates, subject to local law.
2. Types of Information We Collect
We collect Personal Information (data that identifies you) and Non-Personal Information (aggregated or anonymized data).

C. Identification Pixels on Professional Pages
When you visit a professional's page and click "Allow" on our cookie banner, Experience.com may use identification pixels and data-matching partners to associate your visit with the following fields (if available):
- Name
- Email address
- Number of visits
- Gender, age range, neighborhood-level income range
- Address (city, state, street if available)
- Social profile links (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter/X if available)
- Business name and job title
- Last visit date
This data is visible only to the professional whose page you visited and, where applicable, their company account. We and our partners use it to help professionals understand visitor activity and enhance customer experience.
You can withdraw consent or change preferences through our cookie banner or settings.
3. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
Our Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal data, we will delete it promptly.
4. Information Obtained from Other Sources
We may receive information about you from:
- Affiliates and data partners;
- Advertising networks and analytics vendors;
- Public databases and social profiles; and
- Your employer (if you use enterprise services).
If you log in through Google or another third-party identity provider, we receive basic profile information (name, email, photo). Their privacy policies govern their use of that data.

Our websites use social media connectors (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram). These sites may use cookies or pixels to tailor ads. Their use of your data is governed by their own policies.
Some content or applications are served by third parties that may use cookies or tracking technologies to collect information about you over time and across different sites. We do not control these third parties and are not liable for their acts or omissions.
We also collect data from Integrated Services you choose to connect (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile). When you connect them, we receive data they make available and publish it to your Experience.com profile according to your settings. Posts and reviews shared through those integrations follow the display and syndication rules in your account and the Terms of Use.
6. How We Use and Process Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Services.
- Verify your identity and maintain account security.
- Facilitate payments, billing, and renewals.
- Display and syndicate professional profiles, listings, and reviews.
- Send important updates, marketing, or product information.
- Analyze usage to enhance performance and content relevance.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
We rely on one or more lawful bases (contractual necessity, consent, legitimate interests, and/or legal obligation) depending on your jurisdiction.
7. Sharing and Disclosure of Information
We may disclose Personal Information to:

We do not sell Personal Information for monetary consideration. Certain analytics or advertising integrations may constitute "sharing" under the CPRA; you can opt out through our Do Not Sell/Share My Personal Information page.

- Request deletion or correction;
- Opt out of marketing or data sharing;
- Restrict or object to certain processing; and
- Receive a portable copy of your information.

Marketing Opt-Out
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
Enterprise communications tied to account operation are not promotional and cannot be opted out of while the account is active.
9. Data Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information, including:
- Encryption in transit and at rest;
- Access controls and least-privilege policies;
- Network monitoring and intrusion detection; and
- Employee confidentiality and security training.
Despite these measures, no system is completely secure; users share data at their own risk.
10. Data Retention
We retain Personal Information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Notice or as required by law.
Typical retention periods:

Experience.com operates primarily in the United States. If you access our Services from another country, your data may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. or other jurisdictions.
We use standard contractual clauses and comparable safeguards for any cross-border transfers required by law.

Our websites may contain links to third-party sites or services.
We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of any external website.

13. Review and User-Generated Content Ownership
13.1 Review Ownership
Review authors (the customers who post reviews) retain ownership of their original words.
By submitting a review, each author grants:
- Experience.com — a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, publish, distribute, and create derivative works for any lawful purpose; and
- The professional and their company — a similar license to use the review for marketing and reputation-management purposes, provided it is not materially misrepresented.
13.2 Professional and Enterprise User Content
Professionals and enterprise subscribers own their uploaded profile materials (logos, bios, photos, etc.) but grant Experience.com and its affiliates the right to host, display, and distribute that content within the Platform and related integrations.
13.3 Feedback
Any suggestions or ideas submitted to Experience.com may be used without compensation or attribution.
14. State-Specific Disclosures
Experience.com complies with all applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
The sections below summarize your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), Nevada Privacy Law (NRS 603A), and Vermont Data Broker Regulation.

C. Retention
Retention periods match those disclosed in Section 10 of this Notice.
D. Right to Know, Delete, Correct, and Opt Out
California residents have the right to:
- Know the categories of Personal Information we collect;
- Access or request a copy of specific data;
- Request correction or deletion (subject to exceptions);
- Opt out of sale or sharing; and
- Limit use of Sensitive Personal Information.

We verify all requests to prevent unauthorized access.
14.2 Colorado Privacy Act (CPA)
Colorado residents may:
- Confirm whether we process their Personal Data;
- Access, correct, or delete their Personal Data;
- Obtain a portable copy; and
- Opt out of targeted advertising or sale.

We respond within 45 days and will notify you of any extension.
14.3 Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA)
Virginia residents have similar rights to those in Colorado.
You may appeal any denial of a request by emailing privacy@experience.com with "VCDPA Appeal" in the subject line.
14.4 Nevada (NRS 603A)
Nevada residents may opt out of the sale of Personal Information by submitting a request to privacy@experience.com.
We do not currently sell data as defined by NRS 603A.
14.5 Vermont Data Broker Regulation
BuyersRoad, Inc. d/b/a Experience.com is registered as a data broker in Vermont where required.
We do not collect Social Security Numbers, driver's license numbers, or precise geolocation for sale.
We implement security controls consistent with Vermont Stat. Ann. tit. 9, § 2430 et seq.
15. Changes to This Privacy Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice periodically.
If we make material changes, we will post an updated version with a new "Effective Date" and notify you by email or platform notice if required by law.
Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the revised Notice.
