Jennifer Rome

Meet Jennifer! She joined the mortgage industry, her third and favorite career, in 2020, following a 9-year career as a registered dental hygienist and a 13-year career as a business analyst and project manager. She loves working with first-time homebuyers, veterans, first responders, and divorcing clients. Jennifer has purchased four homes in her lifetime: two as a single woman, one following her divorce. She also has first-hand experience with the new construction process, both personally and professionally, supporting a number of clients with their new construction financing needs. Jennifer's depth of experience is an incredible asset, allowing her to guide clients through the home-buying and home financing process.Jennifer takes a servant-leader approach with every client and sees her role as an educator and guide. She says "My role is to understand my clients and their goals and to work alongside them to customize a plan that works well for them. I am here to support and that means all questions are welcome, always. And when goals change, as they sometimes do, I pivot with my clients, providing information necessary to help them make the most informed decisions. There is a person or family at the center of the mortgage process and I never forget this."Jennifer values supporting local including local non-profits, local secondhand stores and local coffeeshops, such as Brew Haha, Summer Moon, Homer's, Pilgrim's, or Groundhouse. She is an advocate for causes such as breast cancer awareness and domestic violence awareness and believes we have a responsibility to use our experiences to help others. She shares her life with her fiance, Joe, her two sons, Aiden and Ellis, two bonus daughters, Molly and Emmy, and her dog 19-lb dog, Theodore Scout. She is also incredibly close to her mother, three brothers and their families! I'd want to thank the amazing scientists of that era for their work, for establishing the groundwork for today's genetic testing...testing that likely saved my life and the lives of many people I love.
