Andrew Berman: As a top performer, what gives you that competitive edge?
Kaley Giessing: I would definitely say it’s my service levels. I try to educate every single client and I like to make them feel like they are my only client… I just care so much about service, education, and making the client feel like they’re it!
Andrew Berman: How much does your online reputation matter?
Kaley Giessing: It is everything, especially in today’s world. I’m 26 so I kind of grew up in the social media world anyways… online presence can definitely make or break your business. I just recently reconnected with a friend I haven’t seen since I was 8 years old because they saw some of my reviews online and I was actually able to help him close his loan last month! It’s [Online reputation] everything and SocialSurvey has helped me so much just getting those reviews out there.
Andrew Berman: What is your most memorable WOW customer satisfaction experience?
Kaley Giessing: She reached out to me from Facebook and said, “I don’t know where my credit is at, is there any way you can take a look at it.” I reviewed it and I gave her a full game plan. She, from the start, was so grateful because I guess she had talked to some other loan officers who just said, “It’s not an option, you’re denied at this point.” I ended up working with her for 8 to 9 months, we stayed in touch, she did everything that [we] went over and she closed on her home in March. And when I got to meet her in person, it was so rewarding just because I was able to really see how much it meant to her that I took the time and was able to show her the steps of becoming a homeowner. That is honestly why I do what I do. I always tell my husband I do it for the review, which probably sounds so funny, but when I get to see why people were happy, or what stood out to them during the transaction, it means everything to me.
