Outside of work, Corey has another impressive skill set. In 1990, he was invited to play football for the Michigan State Spartans after helping his high school earn their first-ever playoff and conference championship in 1988. His experience is reflected in the coaching he does for youth sports activities today, including football, flag football, basketball, baseball, and soccer in his spare time. What activities do you do to retain your customers and earn referrals?
The number 1 thing I do is follow thru on my promises. If you get a promise from me, you can expect results… I make sure that I’m giving undivided attention to my customers and listen to them closely. I also ask them a lot of “server” type questions. How are we doing? Is there anything we can improve? Do you like how it’s going?
The process of originating and closing loans is complicated. How are you able to make it easy and seamless for your clients?
I make sure to contact my client regularly and offer help with paperwork and explanations for complicated matters.

Follow thru on your promises. Learn something new daily. Never pretend to know everything…you don’t.
