Overview:
The Fall Career Fair: Jobs, Internships, Graduate Schools provides organizations the opportunity to meet Xavier students and alumni interested in full-time/part-time (degree required) jobs and internship positions as well as graduate schools.

Full Description:
The Xavier University Career Services Center invites you to join us for the Fall Career Fair: Jobs, Internships, Graduate Schools on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 3:00 ¿ 6:00 p.m. in the Cintas Center. This event will provide employers and graduate schools with an opportunity to promote their organizations/programs to XU students and alumni.

Standard Registration Packages:

Corporate $300
Government $175
Graduate Schools/Education $100
Non-profit $75

The standard package includes one 6 foot table with table cloth and nametags for recruiters (send names to ridgej@xavier.edu). Refreshments will be offered from 2:30-5:00 p.m.

Please also consider the Fall Fair Sponsor package at just $500 with premium table placement and 1/4 page tabloid ad included!

Optional Items:

  • Extra Attendee: $0.00 For organizations that want to bring more than 1 recruiter to the fair

  • Electrical/Powerstrip: $30

  • Internet Hook-up/Network: $15

  • 1/2 Page Ad in Fall Career Fair Tabloid: $250 Must be submitted by 9/1/10

  • 1/4 Page Ad in Fall Career Fair Tabloid: $150 Must be submitted by 9/1/10

Organizations may bring display boards for their table as well as publications and other materials for distribution. Displays must fit into assigned table/space.

Registration:

To register, please click on the orange "Register Now" link (to the right) and complete the online registration form. Much of the information provided at the time of registration will be included in the Fall Career Fair tabloid (including positions being recruited). Registration by 9/1/10 will ensure inclusion in the Career Fair tabloid. If space is available and organizations are still able to register after 9/1/10, organization information will be listed in the addendum (which is printed on a date closer to the fair).

Registrations will be accepted until September 7, 2010 or until space fills. Late registration will only be accepted if space is still available and a late fee will be charged. Submission of your registration does not guarantee a space at the career fair. You will be notified via email of your acceptance.

Refund Policy:

In the event that you must cancel your fair registration, we will offer full refunds until September 1, 2010. If you must cancel your registration after this date, we will collect resumes on your behalf at the career fair and mail them to you after the event. Please contact us as soon as possible if you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy.

Job Postings:

Organizations attending the fair to recruit for position vacancies (full-time/part-time degree required or internships) are encouraged to post job descriptions in eRecruiting (XU's online job board) or on the Online Job Submission webpage. This allows the Career Services Center to advertise organization vacancies to students/alumni prior to the fair.

1. Registration for On Campus Interviewing is now available. Hurry! Space is limited. Email Julie Ridge (ridgej@xavier.edu).

2. Directions to Cintas Center/Parking/Campus Map: Parking passes will not be required for this event.
